Protec Challenge: Heat 1
Report
15th November 1998: Hornby Hobbies invited the Pfizer Viking Slot Car Club to host the first round of a national Protec championship. This is the first championship using the new metal chassis Protec cars.

Pfizer Social Club corporate event.
13th June 1998: Pfizer Social Club hosts a tournament between Social Clubs from British Airways, Courage Beers, Bank of England (and others). A Scalextric team endurance race was just one of the many fun events held.

Le Mans 24 hour Endurance Race in conjunction with Hornby Hobbies PLC and TengTools.

On June 6/7th 1998 the Viking S.C.C. ran the race program for a corporate event at Le Mans, France. The race started at the same moment as the big race and went on for the full 24 hours. The team drivers were employees of Teng Tools.

1998 AutoTrader 1/32 Touring Car Championship.
Area 4: South East

Rounds 1 & 2: May 24th '98
Rounds 3 & 4: Aug 16th '98

The Viking S.C. Club is hosting all rounds for the South East England area.
The championship is open to anyone who would like to try. There are two classes: Modified and Standard. Only drivers using 'Standard' cars have applied for the South East Area 4 heats this year.
