Car set up rules:
Cars are raced as box standard. However, the following alterations are
permissible.
If a proposed alteration is not mentioned below then the driver should request a ruling from a
Scrutinizer or Committee member. Scrutinizers and Committee members must be in agreement for a proposed amendment to be passed.

You may remove front axle drive on SCX cars.
Motors, Wheels, Axle Bearings may be glued in.
Only the standard motor as fitted new may be used.
Body shells may be painted, but not underpans.
All four wheels must touch the track.
Tyres must not protrude outside the body of the car unless the box standard car was made as such.
Body screws may be loosened.
Braid and guide blades may be interchanged across manufacturers.
Fly cars may have solid axles fitted.

   
Any cars issued during the last 5 years not specified in any of the above makes may also be eligible but will be subject to approval from Race Control.
