1: Decals are best applied to a glossy surface. Apply paint first. Make sure surface is clean and free from oil, dust, etc.
2: Trim the individual decal as close as possible. Curved nail cutting scissors are the best for this.
3: Using tweezers, dip the decal into plain water for 5 seconds.
4: Lay the decal on the damp work surface for 30 seconds.
5: Slide the decal off the backing paper into position on the model.
6: Gently blot the excess water with a damp tissue, then a dry tissue.
7: If you are using a decal setting solution, apply it now. Water it down a little to reduce its strength.
8: Allow to dry overnight.
9: Apply a coat of clear finish over the decal to protect it. This must be a water based acrylic finish.
