Test spray from factory
This model was given to every employee of Hornby Hobbies Ltd on the last working day of the year of 1999 to celebrate the Millennium.
At that time there were approximately 250 employees left at the factory after the majority of production had been moved to China.
Plinth has the following tampo print:
"PRESENTED TO HORNBY EMPLOYEES JANUARY 2000". Each plinth shows
the name of the employee on a gold sticker mounted on the right-hand
end panel.
The car bonnet has a tampo print of: "EMPLOYEE PRESENTATION" encircling a laurel wreath with racing car silhouette surrounding the "HORNBY".
The rear wing is decorated with the Millennium emblem figure either side of "2000".
