It appears that the Scalextric motorbike/sidecar was used as a donor to create a new mould tool for Italian company BMW to create their own motorbike slot system.
The under-pan was changed significantly to accommodate their motor and wheels. Even a pin has been included on the chassis to help the bike stay in the slot.
