December 2011: Entered on to Ebay by Hornby Hobbies:

'Hornby Premiums, the promotional B2B arm of Hornby Hobbies Ltd, chose the hugely popular Audi R8 Scalextric Club 2011 model as its Christmas present to send to its major customers throughout the year. However before being posted out they were given the festive treatment and decorated in this superb snow effect livery.

Twenty models were produced, with one of them being made available for enthusiasts to bid for this hugely limited and sought after item. The proceeds of the winning bid will go towards Hornby's selected charity, the RNLI. This model comes complete in original packaging with a numbered Limited Edition certificate'
