You are probably familiar with high detail hand built "static" model cars but did you know that now there is a breed that doesn't just sit on a shelf looking pretty and gathering dust? A MAXi-MODELS hand built slot car has all the allure and benefits of a hand built model but now you can run it round at speed on your home or club slot car track. You can even tune the handling of the model to suit both the track conditions and your own driving style, just like a real racing car! 
And if you just can't bare the thought of giving this little jewel a work out you can always take in all its wealth of detail on it's own display case.

 An alternative to our prepainted kit for those who would prefer to do all the painting themselves. Still a strictly limited edition and as above comes with its own bespoke chassis and all the required running gear to make a fully functioning slot car. And again we provide a free handy display case to show of your pride and joy once you have built it up .

MAXi-MODELS SPRiNT

Our unlimited production range kits are designed to fit to readily available proprietary slot cars and to use their chassis and running gear. The same tooling as used on our top of the range Collectors Series kits is employed on this kit format. You can order our own wheel sets, rather than use those on the donor car you are using, for that final finishing touch. And, of course, it comes with its own display case.

MAXi-MODELS SUPER-SPORT Kit, prepainted

Our new low weight - low cost model format. Derived from our regular high detail tooling - a simple set of resin and vacuum formed mouldings weighing 19 grams painted and assembled. It builds into a fabulous model and slot car performer. They do not replace our market leading Collectors Series slot car models. However, these are still a class apart if the ultimate in mobile scale detail and fidelity and finish is what you are after. Fits to standard propriety chassis or to our own purpose built high performance stainless steel FLEXi-CHASSiS (availablity TBA) And yes, that display case to keep it in is included in the price.

Our models are available either as an individually hand built model, a kit with either a hand finished pre-painted body or an unpainted one and as a body kit only with full interior detail that can be fitted to a commercially available chassis and running gear. All our kits are supplied with comprehensive instructions. A copy of our building tips sheets is available at no extra cost on request. Even if you are a novice builder you've got every chance of making a model as good looking as the professionals.

MAXi-MODELS CONCEPT

A totally original model, not based on any existing or previously available mass produced model in this scale or application.

No compromise has been made in the mastering and componentry that may effect the overall accuracy and "look" of the model.

Main body/chassis (when supplied) construction from impact resistant, vacuum moulded polyurethane resin.
Other ancillary parts produced in resin, pewter, photo etched stainless steel, brass, turned aluminium and vacuum formed PVC.
Precision slot car running gear supplied (excluding body kit format) - powerful 28,000 rpm motor, ground steel axles, phosphor bronze bearings.

The model comes with MAXi-MODELS own magnetic traction system (excluding body kit format), a turn of a screw alters the model's handling characteristics to suit your driving style.
 
Our models are only available as a limited edition of (typically 300 or even less, see model in shop for details) pre-painted and unpainted kits and individually hand built models in total. Very exclusive.
 

Detail differences - We take care that even the smallest differences are modelled between variants of each car. Even of the same cars in the same team at different races. Spot the changes on these pictures of the AAR team cars from the 1968 Ca-Am series. It's not just the numbers that change.


Fully illustrated assembly instructions are supplied with models as standard. Building tips to ensure that a satisfactory result can be achieved even by novice kit builders are available on request.

Each collectors series kit comes with a signed certificate of authenticity with series production number. The body kit option for which production will not be limited does not. 

All models, kit & built, individually inspected at all stages of production to ensure a perfect quality product reaches the customer.
