Other Slot Car Models

Welcome to Max's own collection of self built models for sale, mainly from proprietary kits. Most are rare or hard to find items that are long out of production. Descriptions are as they are offered and that I would hope to be seen to be accurate. If you have seen my listings on EBay in the past, or even bought from me there (maxi-model), you should have no cause for concern. More items will be added shortly.

Some examples of what you should expect to see listed on this page - kit built or unbuilt 1/32nd scale slot cars : Strombecker, Revell, Monogram, MRRC, Top Slot, Mini Replicas, Team Slot & semi scratch built projects.

Shipping and insurance will be at standard Royal Mail recorded delivery rates. I will ship worldwide airmail. Example - add cost for single car delivery £4.75 (next day) UK - £7.57 EC - £8.80 ROW. There will be no additional handling costs. Discounted shipping for 2 or more items. As these are from my own personal collection there are no tax deductions for sales outside EC/UK area, unlike the MAXi-MODELS shop.

I am not a slot car dealer, I do not source items of this type if you are looking for anything else. What you see is what I have got. Once it is gone it is gone. Sorry, no swaps or part exchanges. Full payment via good old Papal will suffice or cheques too if you live in the UK .

Revell Chaparral 2 complete

RTR with original brass chassis (stamped "Mabuchi" on the motor retaining clip).

Body has been spray painted off white to a reasonable standard with sprayed red oxide chassis detailing. Auto world decals, correct #'s and trade sponsors. There is some yellowing on their carrier film. It is a runner but tyres have hardened with age.

Revell "Carroll Shelby's" Cobra hardtop, complete

RTR built from original body kit but with correct ally' chassis and running gear added.

Very nicely spray painted and finished in dark met' green. Includes original body kit box with data/instruction sheet - all immaculate. A runner but rock hard tyres.

Revell '65 Corvette Stingray, with minor modifications

This has been built from a boxed kit with correct ally' chassis to represent the Penske run car.

Nicely spray painted the correct colour and detailed with chrome foil. Non standard side exhausts and wheel trims fitted. Minus front bumper, not fitted to this racer in real life. Includes original box top and Styrofoam tray, data/instruction sheet and spanner - all in good condition. A runner but age hardened tyres.

Revell Mercedes Benz 300 SL, complete

Built from boxed kit.

Nicely spray painted body with stripe, red interior.Correct ally' chassis. Chrome is poor, see pics. A runner, but the usual rock hard tyres. Includes original clean Styrofoam box tray (not shown) but no lid, data/instruction sheets and spanner.
