Contraband, one of Kent's top barn dance bands has played throughout the UK and Europe. 

Please contact us to find out whether we cover your area. We enjoy playing for barn dances, weddings, ceilidhs or any occasion when more traditional music is required. The usual line-up consists of accordion, violin, keyboard, bass guitar and drums (carefully chosen to provide a "full" sound) which combined with our lively tunes sets everyone's feet tapping. "Is it possible for me to hear a demo tape?"

"I have never been to a barn dance, does it matter?"

It doesn't matter if you have never been to a barn dance as you will be walked through the dance by the caller. Anybody to join in.

"Do you only play folk music?"

Although we are a barn dance band, the type of music is not restricted to traditional folk tunes. We can use Scottish, Irish and American traditional tunes, but clients must consult the band well in advance for any special requests.
