Now that the dust has finally settled, I wanted to write you a quick note to thank you and your other band members for the great show that put on on Friday - it really made the party go with a swing!

One of the great things about a Ceilidh is the way in which it encourages people to get up and dance - in fact, during the course of the evening I saw many strange pairings on the dance floor! In addition, I thought it was really nice that you were able to adjust your style of music during the course of the evening, with a very pleasing mix of rollicking country dancing with more relaxing ballads when people needed a break to cool down (or just to sit down and eat!)

Several people complimented me on my choice of band - both during the evening and afterwards - so much so that I almost felt guilty for having found you on the internet!

Just a quick message to say thanks to you and the group for making my birthday party one to remember and one that so many people enjoyed. I've had fantastic feedback from everyone including those who had never experienced a ceilidh. Of course, I knew that most people would be "up for it". The atmosphere and happy (but exhausted) faces were all the evidence I needed to know that it was all worthwhile. 
I think that you will have gained some more fans!

Thank you very much for coming to play at The Valley on Saturday.  I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and my guests have not stopped telling me that they thought you were a great band with an excellent caller.  You managed to get some of them on the dance floor that I never expected!  Well done.

It was, I understand, the first Barn Dance/Ceilidh that Charlton have hosted so I will boast of making history at the Valley.

I shall never forget the occasion, it will remain a very fond memory and I am glad I bought your CD as a souvenir.  The success of the evening was largely down to you and shall always remain grateful to Contraband.  I wish you every success for the band’s future.
